Privacy policy
This policy explains how JVC AC Repair ("we", "us"), operator of acrepairjvc.ae, handles personal data. It is written with the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (PDPL) in mind.
What we collect
- Callback form: your name, mobile number, community or building, the service you need and your description of the problem.
- WhatsApp: when you tap "Chat on WhatsApp", a WhatsApp conversation opens. Your WhatsApp name, number and the messages you send are received by the person handling requests. The first message is pre-filled with a short site reference so we know which website you came from.
- Technical data: basic server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, country) kept by our hosting provider for security and to count clicks on the WhatsApp button. We do not use advertising cookies.
Why we use it
Only to handle your AC request: to pass it to one technician who covers your area so they can contact you, and to follow up if the request was not answered. The legal basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form or by starting a WhatsApp conversation.
Who we share it with
With one independent technician or company who covers your area and the service you asked for. They use your details to contact you about this job only. We do not sell your data and do not share it for marketing.
How long we keep it
Request records are kept for up to 12 months and then deleted, unless we need them longer to resolve a complaint.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it or stop processing it, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. Write to [email protected] and we will reply within 30 days.
